“The Exchange Student Survival Kit is an absolute 'must-read' for any prospective exchange student or host family." —The Midwest Book Review

When I went to France as an exchange student at age 17, I could not have imagined that now some 38 years later my French “sister” and I still keep in touch, with our own children grown.

Much has changed since then, which is why this new edition of The Exchange Student Surivival highlights ways to balance your communications with family and friends back home with your real life experience in another country.

I hope you will enjoy the stories and experiences of the hundreds of exchange students I have met through my 29 years at AFS Intercultural Programs.

This book is also available from Amazon.com. Make sure you are getting the 2nd Edition!
